Event Coordinator Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to deliver a high-profile event showcasing the best of agrifood innovation and driving real connections and investment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for events, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership to make their mark on a nationally recognised event.
* Own the end-to-end delivery of the event and its side events.
* Manage the logistics, venues, exhibitors, theming, merchandise, and on-the-ground execution.
* Drive the Startup Program – from applications through to onboarding and post-event reporting.
* Build and maintain high-value relationships across startup, scaleup, investor, corporate, government, and international networks.
Requirements
* 5+ years' experience delivering large-scale, complex events (innovation, agriculture, or tech sector experience is a bonus).
* Qualifications in event management, project management, communications, business, or similar.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills – confident with everyone from founders to ministers.
* Leadership capability with experience managing and developing team members.
* Proven ability to juggle competing priorities and deliver to a high standard under pressure.
* Demonstrated ability to lead negotiations with confidence and clarity, securing outcomes that align with strategic objectives and stakeholder interests.
