The role
This position is responsible for ensuring that training materials are current, accessible, and aligned with system updates and business processes. The ideal training specialist will be a confident facilitator, skilled instructional designer, and collaborative partner to subject matter experts and system administrators.
The role supports the L&D team and will contribute to the smooth running of the training function within Avivo.
What you'll do
* Facilitate inductions, workshops, and e-learning for internal systems and Microsoft 365 tools.
* Run regular drop-in sessions and full-day training for Service Coordinators, and assist with L&D induction and admin tasks.
* Work closely with subject matter experts and system admins to ensure training content is accurate and up to date.
* Review and update training materials based on feedback and recurring issues, ensuring alignment with business processes.
* Conduct roadshow visits to community teams for in-person training and contribute to reporting on training effectiveness.
What we're looking for
* Advanced IT skills including Excel, MS Outlook, and IT management systems
* Experience working with rostering systems such as Alayacare or similar (highly desirable)
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent (essential)
* Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse learner groups.
* Manage multiple training projects and adapt to changing priorities.
