Some of the duties of the role will include ;
Assist with general daily routines of the young people you will be supporting.
Medication administration, meal preparation, domestic chores, personal care, running everyday errands and creating fun activities
Help young people conquer challenges - from homework to healthy habits
Be their trusted guide - provide transportation and facilitate meaningful connections with families
Keep detailed records – shift notes completed and recorded each day
What you need to be successful to work for Talent Quarter;
Relevant qualifications such as a Diploma in Community Services, Youth Work, or similar
Minimum 6 months + paid experience managing challenging behaviours in Youth work
Essential checks and qualifications – National Police Check, WWCC, First AID and CPR
A valid driver's license and a reliable car + a willingness to drive the young people you support to where they want to go. ( Kms reimbursed)
TCI training is preferable and becoming an Industry standard
