About Delta Tango Advisory Delta Tango Advisory is a veteran-founded management advisory firm. We hire on capability and assess on evidence of delivery. We focus on outcomes, discipline, and judgement. The Role We need an advanced practitioner in communications network engineering to advise Defence on digital network integration. You will design, support, and maintain deployable secure network environments (specifically the Coalition Test Environment) to improve interoperability across Land, Joint, and Coalition boundaries. Expected Outcomes and Responsibilities Produce and maintain network design documentation. Administer Application and Information Systems. Configure desktop and server Standard Operating Environments (SOEs). Apply security controls aligned to the Information Security Manual (ISM) and Essential Eight mitigation strategies. Provide Level 3 technical support and routine system maintenance for secure networks during core business hours. Participate in Test and Evaluation events and perform technical remediation work. Deliver just-in-time training and mentor ADF personnel during activities. Requirements Evidence of Delivery Required Your application must show practical evidence of: Administration of Windows Server (2016), Windows 11, SharePoint, VMWare 7, Exchange, SQL Server, and MECM. Management of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, AD Federated Services, and PKI. Implementation of LAN/WAN technologies, IP addressing, and network segmentation. Engineering for Mission Command and Control Applications. Interpersonal skills applied to engage directly with ICT support teams, project managers, and security personnel. Active AGSVA NV1 clearance (minimum), with the ability to upgrade to NV2. Desirable Evidence: Experience managing Linux servers in a secure Defence environment. Using SIEM tools and Defence cyber security reporting. Configuring Voice and Video formats including CISCO Unified Call Manager and Meeting Server.
