About the Role

We're currently seeking motivated and client focused Accounting Support Officer to join our growing team. As an Accounting Support Officer, you will play an essential role in assisting with the financial management of a diverse client portfolio, helping to support their ongoing success.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Townsville. At Carey Group, we're committed to creating a workplace where our people thrive and are supported to grow their careers.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Support for the day-to-day operations of our accounting services team while confidently managing deadlines and ensuring compliance.
• Certificate in business, accounting, bookkeeping or relevant experience.
• Sound technical capability in applying accounting standards.
• Familiarity with accounting software.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Well‐organised with proven time management skills.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on problem‐solving and continuous improvement.
