About The Role
As part of the Tony White Group, Illawarra Toyota - Albion Park is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Used Motor Vehicle Technician to carry out the mechanical inspection, diagnosis, and repair of pre-owned vehicles before they go on sale. You will play a critical role in ensuring each car meets safety and quality standards for safety and performance.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues
- Carrying out all general repairs, reconditioning and service work
- Identify and report any reconditioning needs
- Performing scheduled maintenance services
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Test driving and final assessments to make sure vehicles are road-ready, holding a RWC licence is advantageous
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- High standards in customer service and customer care
- Collaborating with workshop and dealership teams
- Some overtime and Saturday work required
About You
- Trade qualified Automotive Technician
- Solid diagnostic skills and mechanical experience
- A keen eye for detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Current Australian driver’s license
- Pink and Blue slip license preferred but not necessary
- Used vehicle reconditioning experience highly regarded
