**The Position**
The role of the Social Media and Marketing Specialist is to continue to keep nailing our employment brand, our social media persona, and our online talent community.
Working as part of a national in-house recruitment team you will drive engagement on our social media platforms, deliver targeted campaigns and SEO improvement, update and maintain our careers webpage and ensure our online reach is having the greatest impact
- In collaboration with the team, develop a content calendar and publish as agreed
- Create a loyal and engaged following on social media and analyse and report on weekly metrics including a monthly wrap up on content themes
- Plan, coordinate and monitor channel content for creativity, consistency in tone of voice and on-brand messaging
- Liaise with the team on sourcing and creating content to use across our social media channels
- Create videos/creative content that showcases our employee lifecycle; from our apprentices or new graduates through to our long-term employees celebrating over 35 years at Compass
- Occasionally design print content e.g., newspaper advertising, brochures
- Support with photoshoots, copywriting and partnership management.
**This role would suit a social media/marketing all-rounder who**:
- Has demonstrated experience in a marketing role, preferably with exposure in employment branding
- Loves the challenge of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and be able to maintain high standards when it gets busy
- Has good knowledge of all aspects of marketing communications, including experience managing social and digital media, creating content (including video), messaging and comments, assessing brand engagement and site analytics
- The ability to develop and roll out a content marketing strategy, across a variety of online and social media platforms
- Good stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
- Superior excel skills, powerpoint and adobe skills and a flair for graphic and web design
- Has understanding of general legal conventions and copyright
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing or communications preferred
