Job Description
As a site manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on-site, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Site Organisation: Develop and implement effective site organisation procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
* Safety and Quality Control: Implement and maintain high standards of safety and quality control across the site.
* Team Management: Lead and manage the site team, including sub-contractors and suppliers, to achieve project goals.
* Industrial Relations: Manage industrial relations and safety matters, ensuring a positive working environment for all staff.
* Liaison: Liaise with contracts administrators to ensure that all contractual obligations are met.
* Procurement Strategy: Contribute to the development of procurement strategies and engage with sub-contractors and suppliers to achieve project objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
You will need to have:
* 10+ years' experience in the construction industry.
* Well-developed leadership and communication skills.
* A Site Supervisors Licence and Senior First Aid certificate.
* Ideal experience in projects over 20M+
* Ideal experience in multi-story construction.
