The Webinar Vet is a global platform supporting veterinary professionals with training, resources, and webinars. We're growing fast, and we're looking for a Finance Assistant to keep our finances running smoothly while supporting our mission.
The role
Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Fractional CFO on a day-to-day basis, you'll be at the heart of our finance function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth operations.
Key responsibilities
* Completing month end journals and trial balance reconciliations
* Raise invoices, process payments, and manage receipts in Stripe, PayPal, and Xero.
* Reconcile bank accounts and track corporate debtor payments.
* Support payroll, VAT returns, and statutory filings.
* Assist with cashflow reporting and ad-hoc financial analysis.
* Maintain accurate system access and permissions across financial platforms.
About you
* Experience with accounting software (Xero, Stripe, PayPal, or similar).
* Be able to demonstrate experience of month end close
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Able to prioritise tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
