About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to demonstrate your passion for personal growth and further your career in Horticulture within our Field Services Department. We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our Tree Establishment & Mowing Team. While the primary focus of this role is on mowing, the successful candidate will also contribute to a variety of horticultural and grounds maintenance tasks. Reporting to the Team Leader Horticulture, the Field Officer Parks Gardener is responsible for the delivery and implementation of works aligned to Field Services Maintenance Service Level (MSL) programs for streets and reserves across the city.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in front and mid-deck mowing, tractor cutting, and broadleaf spraying at various locations within the City of Tea Tree Gully.
* Assist in planting 1,600-2,000 trees annually across streets and reserves when mowing duties slow.
* Work closely with team members to ensure high-quality outcomes and contribute to a positive team environment.
* Deliver timely, community-focused service while maintaining high operational and safety standards.

Salary range is between $73,616 - $74,875 plus superannuation guarantee and will be negotiated commensurate with skills, experience and qualifications.
