CENTRAL COAST TRAINING COLLEGE PTY LIMITED Central Coast Training College Pty Ltd is looking to add experienced Chef to their restaurant “Terrace Grill By Symeon & Co” and are seeking applicants who are willing to be part of this well organised, dynamic kitchen who can deliver quality meals on a consistent basis and will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our establishment and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes to our customers. Terrace Grill by Symeon & Co is a modern Mediterranean-inspired restaurant rooted in tradition but driven by innovation.

Work with the Head Chef to plan menus, estimate food costs, and ordering food supplies Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation Discussing food preparation issues with managers, kitchen and waiting staff Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment To prepare and present all food items for the restaurant, ensuring all standards and procedures are maintained Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities To maintain the highest level of cleanliness in all kitchen sections ensuring all equipment and utensils are correctly stored at the conclusion of rostered shift. To ensure the ordering of all food items is carried out for the assigned section in consultation with the Head Chef All other duties as are directed by the Head Chef Ensure that all plant and equipment are maintained and cared for. Follow the restaurants daily cleaning roster and waste disposal practices.
Ensure all employees are adhering to Workplace Health and Food Safety Standards Australia as outlined in the manual. All WH&S incidents to be documented including procedure applied to ensure prevention of all future occurrences. Perform stock take on a daily basis and replenish appropriate items as required.
Any other reasonable duties as directed by the managing director from time to time.
