The Position
Working and living in the central WA Wheatbelt region really is the dream As a Rural Generalist you will be providing unique general practice/primary health care to the local communities as well as servicing the emergency care for 2 rural communities on a weekly or fortnightly basis – the choice is yours. You will also have the opportunity to perform outreach to 3 other small towns in the area. Despite the remote work you will be part of a great collegial multidisciplinary team servicing more than 10 communities in the region, ensuring they have a system of care that is aligned to community needs.
* 70% mixed billings | Salaried role considered

* Optional Merredin or Northam ED roster participation once a week/fortnight that suits your scope of practice ($2,400 per shift + extra VMP payments for after‑hours calls or visits)

* Excellent annual rural incentives from WACHS, WIP and CHI up to $85k for RA4 location

Nice small country town with a warm and friendly farming community tucked nicely in the Wheatbelt region less than 3 hours from the east of Perth in the Shire of Trayning.
* Rural GP training program eligible location (DPA/MMM6) – FSP, ACRRM, RGTS & RVTS
* Great spot for PGY4+ Hospital Medical Officers to transition into General Practice or Rural Generalist pathways
* Also eligible location for AHPRA Expedited Specialist Pathway applicants from the UK, Ireland and New Zealand
* MM6/RA4 – Moratorium scaling 50%; reduction of 5 years
* Opportunity to do a 4‑day week and travel back to Perth for the long weekend
