PACE appointments is currently assisting one of our valued clients with an urgent requirement for a qualified Boiler Attendant / Engine Driver to join their Maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator seeking stable shift work in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor boilers, refrigeration systems, compressors, and associated plant
* Ensure safe operation in accordance with WHS legislation, site procedures, and manufacturer guidelines
* Conduct routine inspections, checks, and log readings
* Respond to alarms, faults, and abnormal operating conditions
* Perform start-ups, shutdowns, isolations, and plant changeovers
* Maintain accurate operational records and compliance documentation
* Report hazards, incidents, and equipment defects in a timely manner
Essential Requirements
* Current HRWL – Advanced Boiler Operation (ABO) – mandatory
* Proven experience operating industrial boilers and refrigeration systems
* Sound knowledge of boiler water chemistry and treatment
* Excellent safety, communication and work ethic history
* Ability to work a rotational roster
