About Our School

Good Samaritan Catholic College, located in Bli Bli on the Sunshine Coast, is a Prep–to–Year 12 institution that opened in 2019. The College has steadily grown and now accommodates approximately 1300 students. The first cohort of seniors graduated in 2024.

As a part of Brisbane Catholic Education, our co‑educational College strives to be a welcoming and supportive community that respects ourselves, each other, and the environment. About The Opportunity

* Assisting with the planning, preparation and delivery of effective learning and teaching programmes for students, including the use of technology and learning support activities
* Monitoring the progress of students and identifying learning areas to provide evidence‑based intervention strategies
* Improving student learning outcomes by providing support and advice on supporting students with diverse learning needs
* Collaborating with school specialists in organising and assisting with intervention groups to coordinate services
* Documenting observation notes, intervention programmes and assisting in the collation and preparation of classroom materials


About You

* Strong skills in planning, preparing and delivering effective teaching programmes
* Ability to monitor student progress and apply evidence‑based interventions
* Expertise in supporting diverse learning needs to improve student outcomes
* Collaborative skills to work with specialists and coordinate intervention groups
* Proficient in documenting observations, managing intervention programmes, and preparing classroom materials
* Certificate III in Education Support
* No requirement to be Catholic


Eligibility And Safeguarding Requirements

* Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
* Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement
