Key Operations Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading and coordinating production, logistics, maintenance, and inventory to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations including production scheduling, inventory management, and logistics.
* Supervise and support production team leads, maintenance staff, and warehouse personnel.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost control.
* Implement and enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with OSHA and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional departments to meet customer delivery expectations.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing methodologies.
* Manage vendor relationships for materials, equipment, and services.
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and capital improvement planning.
* Recruit, train, and develop team members to build a high-performing operations team.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of operations or production management experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
* Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean principles.
* Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
* Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
