About the role
We are currently seeking candidates with experience and expertise in Networking, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Programming and Web Development to plan, develop and deliver training and assessment to students in this study area.
The lecturer's primary role is to teach, facilitate learning, assess and mentor students in accordance with relevant curriculum and/or training package requirements. Lecturers also undertake Professional Activities and Activities Related to Delivery. In order to maintain quality educational services, lecturers are required to keep abreast of technological and other developments in their field through professional development to provide up-to-date information and advice to the College and industry, where appropriate.
Relevant Qualification and Experience
To be eligible for employment you must hold a minimum qualification of Certificate IV in Information Technology or equivalent as a requirement.
Applicants who do not yet hold the minimum required VET credentials are still eligible to apply; however North Metro TAFE will require the successful candidate to be enrolled, to have commenced training in, an approved training and assessment credential and recording satisfactory progress to enable the credential to be completed within two years from commencement.
