Job Title: Deputy Chief Engineer
The role of the Deputy Chief Engineer is a pivotal position within our organization, driving innovation and excellence in engineering practices.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Developing theoretical designs for future aerospace/aeronautical products/systems that meet the needs of the business.
* Leading and coordinating activities related to engineering, design, modification, fabrication, and testing of various products and subsystems.
* Contributing to strategic planning and fostering external relationships with potential partners, customers, and collaborators within the aerospace industry.
* Planning and conducting operational, experimental, and environmental tests on prototypes and models of aerospace and aircraft equipment and systems.
* Preparing technical reports and documentation, including operating procedures, guides, and handbooks for management, engineering staff, and external bodies as required.
* Directing Research & Development programs for future projects.
* Reviewing performance reports and documentation from field engineers, troubleshooting damaged products or malfunctioning systems.
* Coordinating activities regarding technical issues on the vehicle or related systems.
* Remaining up-to-date with cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices, adopting relevant and suitable technology based on projected benefits.
* Ensuring timely delivery of future projects and communicating any variations clearly to the Program Manager and broader leadership team.
* Continuously analyzing, monitoring, and improving efficiency and stability of systems.
