We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and proactive full time Assistant Branch Manager who will assist the Branch Manager in the day-to-day operations of our Kiama branch. This is a great opportunity for a banking or retail professional looking to take the next step in their career.
The Role
* Having conversations with customers face to face, via online channels and over the phone and helping them with their banking and insurance needs
* Exploring new opportunities to find the right financial solutions that may improve their position
* Assist in the management of the day-to-day operations and compliance requirements of the branch
* Supporting staff development and coaching
* Contributing to product and service initiatives/activities for the team and region
* Accept personal loan applications
* Maintaining a high level of operational adherence in line with company and regulatory standards, policies and procedures and carryout out administrative duties.
The Person
* A genuine passion for providing great service and creating positive customer experiences
* Previous supervisory/team leader experience in retail, customer service or banking environment with a collaborative and enthusiastic leadership approach
* Some knowledge of, or experience in consumer lending (not essential if you have the desire to learn)
* Drive and commitment to achieve both personal and team targets
* Experience working in a retail/customer service environment with a proven sales track record
* An aptitude for technology and proficient in MS Office programs/apps
* Honesty and integrity and take pride in diligently following procedures and policy in a regulated financial environment.
