Job Opportunity: Territory Sales Manager


About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Sales professional to join our team in Wangaratta, Australia. As a brand ambassador for our market-leading portfolio of products, you will be responsible for driving sales, distribution, and growth in your designated territory.

The role offers a diverse customer base, including independent grocers, specialty retailers, and multi-site operators. If you have a passion for business development and a focus on achieving results, we want to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned territory.
* Identify and prospect new customers, build strong relationships, and convert leads into sales opportunities.
* Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients and prospects to understand their needs, present product offerings, and negotiate sales agreements.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful sales outcomes.
* Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline in the CRM system.


Requirements:

* Minimum 3 years sales experience in territory sales or field sales ideally in FMCG.
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a similar role.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
* Outgoing, approachable, and passionate about sales, as you manage the business relationships.
* Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and PowerBi skills.
* Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
