The Role
The Goldfields Regional Education Office seeks a highly motivated and efficient Cleaner.
Responsibilities
* Perform internal cleaning duties, including maintenance of carpets, hard floor surfaces, toilets, furniture, fittings, windows, dusting, safe removal of rubbish, and other general cleaning.
* Conduct external cleaning duties such as cleaning verandas and covered areas, rinsing drinking troughs, cleaning windows, removing cobwebs, and other general cleaning tasks.
* Liaise with the Manager Corporate Services on all cleaning matters, ensuring advice and support is current, relevant and consistent with Department policies and procedures.
* Conduct monthly cleaning inspections with the Manager Corporate Services.

Eligibility
* Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or holder of a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.
* Consent to and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before starting.
* Hold a current Working with Children Check.
