About the role
Home Road Real Estate is looking for a dedicated Property Manager to join our team in the Latrobe Valley, VIC. This part-time or full-time role will involve managing a small boutique portfolio of residential properties, ensuring the smooth operation and profitability of our clients' investments. What you'll be doing
Effectively manage a portfolio of residential rental properties, including processing applications, arranging inspections, and signing new tenants with lease signings
Perform regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance and repairs
Manage the financial aspects of properties, such as collecting rent, coordinating payments, and handling arrears
Provide excellent customer service to both landlords and tenants, addressing any queries or concerns promptly
Ensure compliance with all relevant real estate laws and regulations
Maintain detailed property records and generate reports as required
Contribute to the overall success and growth of the property management team
Advertise rental properties and arrange and conduct inspections
VCAT attendance and preparation as required
Note this role may not be limited to the tasks above
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a similar property management role, preferably in the residential sector
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Proficient in using property management software and relevant computer applications
A customer-focused approach and a commitment to providing exceptional service
Knowledge of the local real estate market and relevant current legislation
