**Description**:
Reporting to the Chef, your role is to ensure our students, staff and guests have the chance to enjoy their meals in a friendly and vibrant atmosphere with excellent food service and quality.
**Roster**:
- You will have availability to work Monday to Friday and weekends
**Responsibilities include**:
- Assisting with food preparation e.g. peeling/chopping vegetables, making sandwiches & salads
- Friendly customer service
- Plating and serving meals to our diverse customers
- Washing dishes, cleaning and maintaining kitchen & dining areas
- Assisting with preparation and service of functions and conferences
- Maintaining food hygiene, security and safety practices
**Key attributes required**:
- Previous experience assisting in all aspects of kitchen operations and service
- Ability to organise work with other team members and take direction
- Reliability and availability for various days and hours
- Motivated and enthusiastic
- First class food safety practices
- Ability to comply with OH&S; and food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment during peak service periods
