Apex Steel and Building Products is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our roofing manufacturing team based in Darwin, NT.
This role is ideal for someone with hands‐on experience in roofing manufacturing and strong knowledge of roofing and building products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating roof sheeting roll formers
* Operating flashing lines and associated machinery
* Manufacturing roofing and walling products
* Assisting with production and order preparation
* Maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
Requirements:
* Experience operating roofing roll forming equipment
* Experience with flashing lines and sheet metal machinery
* Strong product knowledge in building materials
* Understanding of fasteners, insulation, and roofing components
* Ability to read and interpret orders
* Reliable, hardworking, and team‐oriented attitude
What we're looking for:
* Hands‐on experience in roofing manufacturing
* Knowledge of roof & walling systems
* Strong attention to detail
* Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced manufacturing environment
* Immediate start available
