Maternal Support Specialist Role
We are seeking an experienced social worker to provide assessments, counselling and care coordination services for mothers and families accessing maternity and child & family services.
1. Deliver family-focused recovery assessments and support to enable the health and wellbeing of mothers and children.
2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualised plans that meet the needs of clients.
3. Develop group work programs to enhance the health and wellbeing of mothers and children.
The successful applicant will have a tertiary qualification in social work, comprehensive knowledge of psychosocial issues, and experience in conducting assessments and group work. A valid Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel for work is also required.
