ArcelorMittal South Africa is recruiting a Coordinator
Key Performance Areas
• Monitor all facets of the sinter making process to ensure continuation and quality standards
• Execute bed building on a daily basis
• Maintain prescribed bunker levels
• Inspect sinter analysis and adhere to corrective actions if necessary
• Monitor prescribed plant parameters
• Complete all required process documentation
• Be pro-active to ensure plant availability at all times
• Liaise with other sections in order to maintain process continuation
• Communication with all relevant sections.
• Drive KPI 's
• Participation and drive SHE actions and programs.
• Optimise and control the Sinter process and raw material handling plant
• Cost control
• Manage shift personnel
• Respond to plant alarms and events timeously and make correct decision to ensure continuous plant operation
Qualifications and Experience
• Grade 12 / NCV 4
• 100% competent on current role level
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Sinter Making Operations
• Computer literacy: Ms Office and relevant SAP modules
