Role Overview
Manage, lead, and organize the nursing and multi-disciplinary team in the Acute Mental Health Inpatient Unit and Recovery Centre. Ensure effective patient flow, facilitate step-up and step-down care, and collaborate with support teams to deliver appropriate care at the right time.
The Nurse Unit Manager is responsible for ensuring staff practice in accordance with AHPRA regulations, the code of conduct, and NSW Health values. Key responsibilities include leading care teams, managing ward operations, demonstrating professional integrity, and fostering collaborative relationships.
