The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity in our transformational Digital Engineering team, who work closely with asset intensive organisations, design teams and construction team partners to lead a pragmatic digital approach to the management and delivery of project and asset information.
Working at Beca will provide you with access to a truly multi discipline business where you can draw on technical experts and recognised industry leaders to support delivery of significant and complex projects in multiple markets. These include the aviation, defence, education, commercial, health, transport, and utilities sectors.
As a Digital Advisory Consultant you will lead a wide range of opportunities from pre-pursuit through to completion. Beca will look to you to:
* Work with Beca’s current (and future) clients to anticipate their challenges – leveraging good practice conducted by Beca and others, locally and globally to help our clients improve.
* Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate these into opportunities, proposals, and align these pursuits with talent within the organisation.
* Manage strategic opportunities from pre-pursuit, through to proposal, project management of individual opportunities, and on to lessons learned and continuous improvement.
* Project manage all aspects of projects, from Managing and developing schedules to authoring and performing quality control/assurance on deliverables.
About you
The Digital Engineering Advisory team partners with Beca’s clients across the asset lifecycle—planning, design, delivery, and handover—to manage and advise on digital and innovative approaches. Experience in consulting, architecture, engineering, construction, or design is advantageous.
Key skills and experience:
* Strong project management, leadership, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration.
* Knowledge of digital and innovative methodologies, including:
o Digital Engineering / BIM
o Information management and design/construction processes, including asset data creation and validation
o Common Data Environments and enterprise systems
o Digital asset management
* Conflict resolution and effective stakeholder management.
* Ability to produce high‑quality policies, strategies, reports, and presentations.
* Competence in change management, process mapping, gap analysis, and strategic writing.
* Confidence with client engagement, business development, commercial processes, and bids.
* Bachelor’s degree (Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field).
* Commitment to professional development through supplementary training.
