Civil Leading Hand/ Supervisor
The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Leading Hand with the capability to step up into a supervisory position as required. This role is ideal for someone with proven civil experience and the confidence to lead small teams in a fast‑paced, safety‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support crews on daily civil and paint/blast works
* Oversee daily operations, including earthworks, pipe fitting, drainage, and paint and blast
* Conduct pre‑starts, toolbox meetings and safety checks
* Promote a strong safety‑first culture
* Oversee quality control and adherence to site and project specifications
Requirements
* Proven leading hand or supervisor experience (Schedule 26 desirable)
* High Risk Work Licence (EWP), Working at Heights, Confined Spaces
* Pass a pre‑employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
* Previous experience at South32 or similar processing plant desirable
