About Your Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Boilermaker/Mechanical Fitter tradesperson to join our Turnaround team in Maintenance Services. Reporting directly to the Supervisor – Site Services & Flash Tanks, you will contribute to our vision by:
* Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental, and community policies, systems, and procedures.
* Performing maintenance services on Flash Tanks, Digestors, Holding Tanks, and associated equipment in the Digestion area of the plant (planned work and breakdowns).
* Diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and recommending improvements to equipment.
* Ordering parts and recording maintenance history.
* Completing inspection of components and taking personal accountability for the safe execution, quality, and efficiency of work.
* Communicating effectively with your team and other internal customers as required.
What You Will Bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you should have:
* A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
* Mechanical trade qualifications (Boilermaker or Mechanical Fitter) with experience installing large valves and pipework would be advantageous.
* A positive and motivated attitude with the ability to communicate effectively and work safely in a team environment.
* Able to work autonomously in the field.
* Riggers and Forklift High Risk Work Licence would be advantageous.
* Process-oriented thinking through identification of improvements to advance accuracy and efficiency.
