Job Title: Water Treatment Plant Operator – Northern
Job Description:
This role involves ensuring the continuous supply of safe clean drinking water.
The position is based in Shepparton or Cobram, and you will work with the Corporation's Water Treatment Plants and facilities. You will be responsible for providing the community with safe and quality water at various sites.
You will perform your role using modern technology and equipment, while demonstrating a strong focus on safety requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A Certificate 3 in Water Industry Treatment would be advantageous.
* Understanding of hydraulics and mechanical plans is essential.
* Commitment to resolving customer enquiries is required.
* Physical ability to undertake tasks is necessary.
* Mathematical calculations and roster work are also expected.
* A strong OHS commitment and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are highly valued.

About This Role:
Practical hands-on skills are required, as most work is done outdoors. We provide training to work on water networks, which is necessary for this role.
