Inner West, Sydney
A well established and rapidly growing construction contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a $55m Class 3 residential development in Sydney's Inner West.
Over the past decade the business has experienced significant growth and in 2025 delivered close to $150m in annual turnover. The company currently operates with a team of approximately 85–90 staff and has built a strong reputation for delivering complex residential and mixed use projects across Sydney.
Their core focus is the delivery of Class 2 and Class 3 residential developments, alongside selected industrial and commercial projects. With a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to take ownership of a key Inner West project.
The Role
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of a $55m Class 3 residential development, managing the project from construction through to completion and handover.
Key responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project
* Managing programme, budget and commercial performance
* Leading and mentoring the site and project team including Project Engineers and Contract Administrators
* Managing subcontractor procurement and contract administration
* Maintaining strong relationships with the client, consultants and key stakeholders
* Ensuring compliance with NSW building regulations and Class 2 / Class 3 compliance requirements
* Overseeing reporting, risk management and project performance
Requirements
* Proven experience delivering mid to large scale residential projects in Sydney
* Strong background managing Class 2 or Class 3 residential developments
* Ability to lead and mentor project teams
* Strong commercial and contractual management capability
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
