Multiple opportunities are available for Commercial Claims Consultants to join our IAG property claims team, based in Newcastle, on a full‐time permanent basis. You'll play a key role in the claims experience, supporting customers in their time of need and working efficiently to ensure a smooth end‐to‐end claims process. Handling inbound customer calls, you'll assess information to manage a portfolio of property claims and work closely with suppliers and repairers to ensure replacements and repairs are completed in a timely manner.
Your journey will commence on Friday 5th June 2025 with a comprehensive, five‐week paid induction based in the Newcastle office. This role requires full‐time office attendance for the first three months. Following successful completion of training, and subject to demonstrated capability, the role will transition to a hybrid model with one day per week in the office, Monday to Friday between 8am and 6:00pm.
What You'll Do
* Support customers through the property claims process, assessing each claim individually to ensure fair and accurate outcomes
* Communicate regularly with customers via phone and email, keeping them informed
* Work closely with suppliers and repairers to coordinate repairs and replacements within agreed timeframes
* Manage a portfolio of claims, including settlements, while maintaining accurate and up‐to‐date records
What You'll Bring
* Previous experience in a customer‐facing role
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage empathetically with customers via phone and email
* Comfortable working in a fast‐paced, high‐volume environment, particularly during peak periods or weather events
* Good computer literacy and confidence using multiple systems while maintaining accurate records
* Flexibility to adapt to change, manage competing priorities, and work collaboratively as part of a team
