About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our West Wodonga Board Plant. This is a full-time permanent role, with Day, Night or Rotating shift available.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, repair, and service machines, including glue lines, roll-overs, conveyors, cylinders, belts, and automated systems.
* Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery.
* Work with our skilled production team to resolve issues with minimal downtime.
* Manage inventory and stock control of spare parts.
* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues related to production machinery.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.
What You'll Bring
* Mechanical Fitter or similar trade qualification.
* Strong experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance in manufacturing environments.
* Ability to fault-find and resolve issues with a sense of urgency.
* Passion for your trade and commitment to continual growth.
* A proactive attitude and commitment to safety.
