Primary Mental Health Clinician
The role of the Primary Mental Health Clinician involves providing high-quality primary mental health interventions for young people aged 12-25 with mental health and wellbeing concerns. This includes intake, screening, initial care coordination and assessment, as well as evidenced-informed counselling interventions tailored to the needs of young people and their families.
This is a dynamic role that requires close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team consisting of general practitioners, allied health professionals, and nursing staff to facilitate coordinated clinical care and treatment. The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and community agencies.
