Role Overview
As a dedicated support worker, you will be responsible for assisting daily routines, medication administration, meal preparation, domestic chores, personal care, running errands and creating activities for young people. You will provide trusted guidance, transportation, and facilitate meaningful connections with families.
Key responsibilities include helping young people conquer challenges from homework to healthy habits, keeping detailed records of shift notes completed and recorded each day.
The ideal candidate has relevant qualifications, such as a Diploma in Community Services, Youth Work or similar. They should have minimum 6 months paid experience managing challenging behaviors in Youth Work and essential checks and qualifications including National Police Check, WWCC, First Aid and CPR. A valid driver's license and reliable car are also required.
