Installed Base Sales Specialist – Hewlett Packard Enterprise
This role is an Onsite position that primarily works from an HPE office. We are looking for an experienced sales professional to manage the retention and growth of existing customer support agreements within enterprise and mid‑market accounts in Canberra.

Job Description
HPE Services is recruiting an Installed Base Sales Specialist who will defend and grow business within a defined territory. You will work closely with sales and account teams, and partner with internal operations and pursuit teams to ensure accurate data and service delivery.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Protect the Installed Base through proactive customer engagement and pursuing all expiring support opportunities.
* Establish trusted customer relationships to develop an understanding of their business.
* Drive Installed Base growth by pursuing new business and upsell opportunities.
* Negotiate, structure, and close creative solutions that meet customer expectations.
* Build and maintain a sales pipeline, providing accurate forecasting against quota.
* Lead the development of territory plans, deal reviews and closing plans.
* Be accountable and deliver against defined sales targets.
* Partner with the broader Sales and Account teams to deliver the best solution and service delivery to the customer.
* Collaborate with internal operations and pursuit teams to maintain accurate Installed Base data.
Skills and Experience Required
* Minimum 5 years sales experience (preferably in IT) with proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Demonstrated ability to identify upsell or cross‑sell opportunities within Enterprise and Mid‑Market accounts.
* Account management experience is essential.
* Excellent presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
* Results oriented and able to work independently.
* Strong time‑management skills.
* Collaboration and teamwork across a large matrix organization.
