About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the Deputy Director of Nursing plays a vital role in supporting clinical governance, staff leadership, and quality outcomes across the facility.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting daily clinical operations and resident care outcomes
* Leadership and oversight of 2 Clinical Nurses, AINs, and trained care staff
* Supporting accreditation, compliance, and continuous quality improvement
* Providing on-call clinical support every third weekend
* Acting as a key support to the DON and Facility Manager
About You

* Registered Nurses with strong quality, compliance, and customer service focus, even without formal management experience
Essential criteria:
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Solid clinical background within aged care
* Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
* A resident-centred, quality-driven approach to care
* Current Australian full working rights
