Role Overview
We're seeking a full-time CQI Program Coordinator based in Alice Springs, NT. In this impactful role, you'll support the implementation of the NT Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Strategy and work closely with Aboriginal PHC services to improve care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate implementation of the NT CQI Strategy in alignment with the Program Logic model
* Deliver training and mentoring to clinicians, health service staff and CQI facilitators in CQI processes and tools
* S_support the development and execution of local and regional CQI plans in PHC services
* Plan and coordinate professional development activities and the annual NT CQI Collaborative
* Analyse NT Aboriginal Health KPIs (NTAHKPIs) and other data to identify trends and drive improvements
* Engage external stakeholders including academic institutions and accreditation bodies to enhance CQI impact
* Provide secretarial support to the NT CQI Steering Committee
About You
To qualify, you will need to be an AHPRA-registered clinician or bring substantial experience in primary health care, ideally within Aboriginal health services. You will have a demonstrated ability to lead quality improvement initiatives, interpret health data, and support capacity-building across diverse clinical teams.
The following skills and background will be highly valued:
* Applied knowledge in clinical CQI, change management, and CQI systems in Aboriginal PHC
* High-level verbal and written communication skills with cross-cultural competency
* Experience mentoring clinical teams or CQI facilitators
* Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams
* Culturally aware and able to work under Aboriginal leadership
