We're on the lookout for a skilled IT professional to play a key role in the day-to-day operations and business-as-usual (BAU) processes of a dynamic Infrastructure Services team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, managing enterprise-grade Windows environments, and contributing to major incident resolution.
Your new role
* Supporting and maintaining Windows Server operating systems.
* Troubleshooting and resolving escalated issues and major incidents.
* Ensuring smooth operation of core infrastructure services.
What you'll need to succeed
* Deep experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, PKI, ADFS, File & Print services, DFS, and Group Policy (including AGPM).
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft System Centre tools (SCOM, SCCM/MECM) and Intune.
* Familiarity with tools and practices like application whitelisting, host-based firewalls, vulnerability scanning, and device control.
* Managing Azure IaaS environments, including template deployment and resource administration.
* Understanding of Australian Government cybersecurity frameworks (ISM, Essential 8, ACSC).
* Strong technical writing skills for SOPs and design documentation.
* Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools like CyberArk and enterprise identity management systems.
* Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold a minimum Baseline security clearance. Candidates without the required clearance will not be considered.
* Location: Canberra, ACT -based candidates only, due to the collaborative and interactive nature of the role.
