About the role
With 12 Early Learning Centres across the Perth Metro area, this pivotal Leadership role, managing a large, diverse and dynamic team provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure service excellence, quality outcomes and regulatory compliance. You'll strive to build staff capability, lead change and drive a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Executive Director, you will make a visible impact to children, families and the community, influencing the delivery of key Operational drivers across Business Growth and Quality, Financial & Workforce Management, Risk, and Procurement activity, with unique opportunities to partner with key internal and external stakeholders on strategic business projects.
About you
As an authentic, strategic and visionary leader who exudes passion and energy for Early childhood, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact You will successfully balance 'big picture' thinking with the delivery of daily operational requirements. Your previous relevant experience in an Operational Senior Leadership role will lend well to influencing, managing and mentoring large teams, and your understanding and application of legislative requirements as they pertain to the Education and Care Sector.
Flexibility, adaptability and resilience will see you lead decisively on fast moving operational demands, coupled with strong influencing and people skills to ensure meaningful stakeholder relationships at all levels to achieve business and quality outcomes.
In addition, you will also possess:
* Tertiary Qualifications in Childhood Education or Early Childhood
* Relevant Bachelors degree or significant relevant experience
* Demonstrated experience in quality improvement, compliance initiatives and continuous improvement
* Ability to interpret data and apply those insights to policy formulation and analytical report writing
* Strong financial management experience, including budgeting and delivering strategic planning and reporting
* Drivers Licence
* Working with Children Check
* National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
