About the Role
This is a key position within our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care in a military setting.
The ideal candidate will have experience in triage, assessment, and management of patient care in a healthcare setting. They will also possess knowledge of Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) codes, guidelines, and statements for registered nurses.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality clinical care by professional standards, legislation, and Defence Policies and Procedures
* Coordinate/supervise sick parades, medical appointments, and maintain clinical records in electronic and paper formats
* Order and maintain clinical stores and pharmaceutical imprest supplies
* Participate in governance activities including clinical reviews, health surveillance, and auditing
Requirements
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
* Minimum of 12 months full-time Post Graduate experience within the previous 5 years in an acute care, primary health care or military setting (or part-time equivalent)
* Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality clinical care by professional standards, legislation, and Defence Policies and Procedures
* Experience in triage, assessment, and management of patient care in a healthcare setting
