**Qualifications & experience**
- Diploma qualification in Tourism, Hotel Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Catering or Events Manager, Luxury sector Experience is an advantage

**Responsibilities**
- Be consistent, reliable, and excited to be part of leading a first-class team, guiding your department through an opening and instrumental in growing the business.
- Authentic and passionate, you will have the ability to build relationships with guests and inspire a healthy work ethic within the team.
- Excellent communication with all departments, running functions and having control of the rosters, venue maintenance as well as financial accountability.
- Compile and manage manning levels
- Recruitment of Catering and Event staff
- Create sequence of service for the individual OH outlets
- Create training program for Catering and events team
- Create roster system and labour control monitoring system
- Create an annual Catering & Events calendar
- Ensure three daily briefings are held for Catering team
- Ensure your team are on duty well-groomed as per OH standards
- Ensure all daily and month end inventory controls are adhered to and spot check these are functioning correctly
- Ensure all Events forms are printed as required, including menus, seating charts etc.
- Ensure all Events, F&B and public areas are always prepped well in advance and ready for service
- Ensure assets are cared for and breakages are controlled, maintain a breakage report
- Ensure all staff are aware of their duties and have the tools to perform their tasks
- Make time to spend with the guests and getting to know there wants and needs by checking with group or event organisers.
- To be aware and have a clear understanding of the emergency procedures for OH
- To ensure all areas of Fire and Safety for Catering and Event spaces are maintained
- To ensure all areas of First Aid are stocked and maintained
- To participate in MOD shifts as required
- To create the annual Catering & Events Capex requirements
- To create the annual Catering & Events budget
- To work on your own personal development ensuring you are always on trend and receiving the training required to ensure you are an industry leader
- To ensure all team members who require an RSA have this and monitor its always current
- To ensure all rosters are updated and published weekly
- To ensure all time sheets are approved daily
- To lead by example and attend to any other duties as requested by management

**Salary**: $74,999.00 - $84,999.00 per year
