Our client is a third-generation business that has been operating since 1955 and is recognised as a market leader in ground-engaging tools, earthmoving equipment, and agricultural machinery and parts. With operations across New South Wales and the ACT, the company continues to grow rapidly, maintaining a strong reputation for quality products, technical expertise, and exceptional customer service.

About the Role

Based in Canberra and reporting to the Operations Manager, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Account Manager to drive sales and business growth across the ACT, Southern Highlands to Albury and South Coast from Nowra to Eden.

This position is focused on selling earthmoving equipment, parts, and wear components to customers in the civil construction, quarrying, and earthmoving industries. You’ll be responsible for building strong customer relationships, providing technical product advice, and identifying new opportunities to expand market share.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy, thrives on developing customer relationships, and takes pride in achieving sales results in a hands-on, technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities for earthmoving equipment and parts within the allocated region.

* Maintain and grow existing customer relationships across the civil construction, quarrying, and earthmoving sectors.

* Provide technical product advice, support, and tailored solutions to meet customer needs.

* Prepare quotes, tenders, and proposals in line with company pricing and service standards.

* Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and upcoming project opportunities.

* Report regularly on sales performance, pipeline activity, and customer feedback.

About You

* Proven experience in sales, account management, or territory management within the earthmoving equipment, parts, or heavy machinery industries.

* Strong technical knowledge of ground-engaging tools, wear parts, or related machinery components.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

* Self-motivated, commercially astute, and able to work independently across a regional territory.

* Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the region.

* A well-established network in the earthmoving, construction, or quarry sectors will be highly regarded.

* Experience in HubSpot, Salesforce technologies, or similar.
