We are seeking a Primary Leader (Community and Wellbeing) Teacher with a negotiable teaching load to join our school community.

The role of the Community & Wellbeing Leader is vital in ensuring all students feel valued, cared for, and empowered to succeed both academically and personally. This position works in partnership with the Learning & Teaching Leaders to build strong relationships with students and families to encourage community spirit and participation, while ensuring the overall improvement of the Foundation to Year 6 cohort.
This position works closely with all Community & Wellbeing Leaders and the Deputy Principal Community & Wellbeing to enact the strategic direction of the school, focusing on analyzing student behaviour data to enhance engagement. It also involves the strategic deployment of resources to support improved learning outcomes, fostering faith education and Catholic identity.
You Will
* Collaborate with the Deputy Principal Community Wellbeing and Inclusive Education Leader to create and monitor pastoral groups.
* Monitor attendance, uniform standards, and presentation of the learning community, addressing concerns effectively.
* Manage wellbeing referrals and connect families with relevant support services.
* Organize learning community events in collaboration with all leaders.
* Work with the Catholic Identity Leader to establish faith-filled practices.
* Lead the transition of students within F-6 in partnership with classroom teachers.
* Utilize the SWPB framework to support behavioural needs.
* Review data such as attendance and disruptions, developing strategies for improvement.
* Contribute to school improvement and action plans.
* Align community development and wellbeing initiatives with the College values and frameworks.
* Evaluate the impact of strategies on student behaviour, wellbeing, and engagement.
* Review budgets related to learning community resources in consultation with the Business Manager.
