About the role
As the Liquor Store Manager for Cellarbrations Birdwood, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving the success of this thriving liquor store. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing all store operations and leading your team to achieve ambitious sales and profitability targets.
What you’ll be doing
* Managing day-to-day store operations, including inventory management, team member scheduling, and cash handling
* Developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth
* Providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with both new and existing customers
* Assist with recruiting, training, and managing a team of passionate retail professionals
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
* Analysing store performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic changes
* Collaborating with the wider Klose’s team to share best practices and support the company’s overall growth
What we’re looking for
* Experience in a retail management role, preferably within the liquor industry
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop a team
* Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
* Proficiency in inventory management, budgeting, and financial analysis
* A passion for the liquor industry and a deep understanding of local and national trends
* Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in retail management or a related field
