We're looking for an Aboriginal Graphic Designer to help bring stories, data, programs, and community health initiatives to life through high‐quality digital and print design. This role comes with genuine flexibility, whether you want part-time or full-time hours, we'll work with you to find a pattern that works best for you!
In this role, you will help shape the organisation's visual identity and ensure our materials are culturally grounded, accessible, and engaging.
Your work will shape promotional, educational, and event-based content to support our organisation and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHS) across Western Australia. This includes the organisation's annual report, newsletter, e-bulletins and other print and digital materials such as brochures, flyers, booklets, intranet and website material.

About You
Aboriginality is an essential criterion and is provided for under Section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA).
We're looking for someone who has:
* A qualification in graphic design, multimedia, or a related field;
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a graphic design role;
* Strong illustration ability, creativity, and excellent attention to detail;
* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office;
* Experience working with web-based content management systems;
* Solid time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines;
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external stakeholders; and
* A demonstrated ability to uphold the principles of cultural safety including an ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Ideally, in addition to the above, we are looking for someone who has a keen interest in Aboriginal Health.
The position involves working within a multicultural organisation where the majority of employees, clients and stakeholders identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Please note: In addition to the above skills and experience, the successful candidate will require an unrestricted WA "C" Class Driver's Licence, and be required to submit a National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months) prior to appointment.
