We're looking for a proactive, detail-driven professional to take ownership of rebuild projects—from initial enquiry through to final delivery—ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
About The Role
As Project Manager - Rebuilds, you will lead and coordinate the delivery of projects involving heavy fabrication and equipment rebuilds (including mining buckets and associated components). You'll be the central point of contact for customers and internal teams, driving project outcomes and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end project delivery from enquiry, scope development and quoting through to completion
* Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, BOMs, and pricing aligned to customer requirements
* Plan and coordinate resources across production, engineering, and logistics teams
* Monitor project progress, costs, schedule, quality, and scope
* Provide regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders
* Manage project risks and implement corrective actions where required
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality (ISO 9001:2015), and environmental standards
* Oversee product quality through inspection test plans and hold points
* Support warranty claims and post-delivery resolutions
* Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and invoicing
* Contribute to continuous improvement and digital system adoption
About You
You are a hands-on Project Manager with a strong background in manufacturing or heavy industry, bringing at least five years' experience delivering complex projects from start to finish. Ideally, you have exposure to heavy fabrication or mining equipment and understand the technical and operational demands of rebuild environments. You balance strong commercial acumen with a practical, solutions-focused approach, and thrive on managing multiple projects while maintaining a sharp focus on quality, safety, and delivery.
You're a confident communicator who builds strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle. With a high attention to detail and a proactive mindset, you anticipate challenges early and drive outcomes that meet both customer expectations and business objectives.
To Be Successful, You Will Bring
* Minimum 5 years' experience in project management within manufacturing or heavy industry
* Experience in heavy fabrication or mining equipment (highly desirable)
* Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, procurement, and cost control
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
* High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions‐focused mindset
You Will Also Have
* Certificate IV in Project Management (or similar)
* Trade qualification in fabrication (preferred)
* Current C-Class Driver's Licence
* Proficiency in MS Office and project management systems (e.g. MS Project, Dynamics, EXO)
