Dugald River Mine is one of the world's top 10 zinc mine operations, producing zinc concentrate for global customers since 2017.
The mine is committed to a low-carbon future.
In April 2023, the Dugald River Solar Farm began operations, supplying a third of the mine's power and reducing emissions by 33%, marking the start of its renewable energy transition.
Dugald River employs approximately 750 employees and contractors on a mix of fly-in, fly-out, and local residential arrangements.
Operator Mining – Water Cart We currently have an opportunity for a Water Cart Operator to join our Mining team at Dugald River Mine.
Reporting to the Supervisor - Mining, you will operate the water cart to carry out safe and efficient dust suppression activities.
This role is based on an 8/6, 7/7 (Days & Nights) roster, with drive-in, drive-out arrangements from Cloncurry, Mount Isa, or Townsville.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience A current C Class LicenceAbility to obtain a National Police Clearance and Pre-Employment MedicalExperience operating water trucks in an underground hard rock environmentTo succeed in this role, you should possess a strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards safety.

Isa.
On-site accommodation at Dugald River is provided in fully air-conditioned en-suite rooms, including meal service and room cleaning.
