**About the role**
**Mater's Supply Chain** **Operations** are seeking an experienced and driven **Team Leader Inventory Operations**. This is a **permanent full-time position** based in **South Brisbane** with local travel throughout Mater SEQ hospitals required at times.
Reporting to Manager Warehousing and Inventory Operations, the Team Leader Theatre Inventory Operations is part of a centralised Mater Supply Chain Operations team, which is focused on building collaborative, customer-focused relationships and adopting a business partnering approach.
**Salary range: $90,832 - $100,070 (MCA4) per annum**plus 11.5% superannuation and**access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900** +**access to many staff benefits
**What you'll be doing**
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Oversee Mater Operating Theatres inventory management to ensure optimal levels and placement
- Manage inventory control team's performance and development
- Identify and address supply chain inefficiencies in Critical Care areas
- Lead projects such as warehouse relocations and inventory level reviews
- Supervise operational workflow and communicate performance expectations
- Work with stakeholders to implement changes for greater efficiency
- Maintain high levels of customer service in Operating Theatres
- Support team development through coaching and performance reviews
**About you**
- Diploma in Purchasing or Inventory Management, preferred
- Experience in team leadership in a large organisation
- Proven ability to lead change and manage purchasing operations
- Strong data and reporting skills in a purchasing context
- Knowledge and experience of ERP platforms or purchasing and inventory management platforms
- Proficiency with MS Office and online collaboration tools
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Initiative, proactive communication, and collaborative leadership abilities
- Commitment to workplace health, safety, and continuous improvement efforts
