The Role
This role blends product development and buying, ideal for someone who enjoys working end‐to‐end — from trend research and concept creation through to supplier negotiation and delivery. You'll balance creativity with commercial thinking to deliver collections that resonate with customers while meeting margin and pricing targets.
Responsibilities
* Drive development and buying of trend‐led fashion collections
* Translate trends, data, and customer insight into commercial product
* Partner with suppliers to manage sampling, costing, and timelines
* Negotiate costs, quantities, and delivery schedules to achieve margin targets
* Maintain critical paths to ensure on‐time launches
* Lead fit approvals and quality checks
* Support range planning, line reviews, and seasonal drops
* Identify risks and opportunities to maximise sell‐through
Requirements
* Experience in product development and buying within fast fashion or trend‐led retail
* Strong commercial instinct with proven cost negotiation skills
* Ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines in a fast‐paced environment
* Confident communicator with strong supplier relationships
* Trend‐driven, customer‐focused, and detail‐oriented
